Raised in Kansas and now based in Vancouver, BC, Josh Pratt is a freelance film editor and writer with extensive experience in series and feature documentaries on music and pop culture, as well as current affairs and investigative reporting.
With over 15 years of experience in Post Production, Josh brings high-quality and nuanced films to life for some of North America's largest brands and networks including PBS, Vice, HBO, NBC, MGM, Paramount Pictures, Google, and A&E.
Since 2020, Josh has been remotely editing documentaries across multiple time zones and countries. Having invested heavily in the infrastructure required to meet the needs of high-profile broadcasters with large, dynamic teams, Josh is well-equipped to provide seamless editing on time.
Josh’s strengths lie in storytelling, character development, music editing, a passion for archival footage, and always helping the director and producer reach the best version of their vision.
